Head Check
Each member of the household will need to have a thorough head check to determine if head lice is present. It is imperative that every member of the house is checked, as the chances of other family members and caregivers contracting lice is very high. If head lice is detected and a treatment plan is chosen, there will be no charge for the head check.

Lousebuster Treatment
30 minute Lousebuster Treatment with full comb out included in price. The LouseBuster™ treatment is performed by a trained LouseBuster Certified Operator™ who uses a disposable applicator tip attached to the LouseBuster™ device to direct carefully controlled heated air against the hair roots and scalp where lice and their eggs typically are located. NO CHEMICALS ARE USED! An average of 30 minutes is required to make sure the whole scalp has been treated, followed by a 30 to 90 minute comb out to remove remnants of the dead lice and their eggs. Traditional Comb Out
For children under the age of 4, and for a small group of other patients, the Lousebuster device cannot be used. In such cases, Fresh Heads uses a very thorough, strand by strand method of lice removal. This treatment includes the use of an enzyme rich combing solution for easier nit removal, as well as an incredibly powerful louse suffocating silicone oil treatment. As always, everything we use is completely non-toxic. The manual comb out method requires follow-up and work on your part. You will have one follow up appointment 7-10 days later, and 30 minutes of combing at home each day in between. There is no charge for your follow up appointment!
